Cheltenham Racecourse officially opened its new, five and a half storey grandstand on the 13th November 2015, on time and on budget.
Kier Construction were chosen by the Jockey Club as the main contractor to deliver its £45m grandstand development at its flagship Cheltenham Racecourse.
The development featured a crescent walkway that creates an amphitheatre around the parade ring, a bridge over the horsewalk, and various outdoor covered food and beverage areas, such as Quevega's and the See You Then Terrace. Taunton Fabrications is proud to have been appointed by Kier Construction to carry out the £1.5m architectural package on the project, which included high specification stainless steel balustrades and glass balconies. As always, our fully skilled stainless steel fabricators and finishers ensured that full compliance was met at all times.
