University of Exeter’s East Park offers 1,182 high quality student residences on The University of Exeter’s Streatham Campus. The project comprised a mixture of standard, en-suite and enhanced accessible bedrooms and represented the largest build of on-campus accommodation at the University since 2012.
University Partnerships Programme (UPP), the UK’s leading provider of on-campus residential and academic infrastructure, delivered the East Park project as part of a £139.7 million partnership with the University and continues the growth of the UPP – VINCI Construction UK relationship in the South West.
Taunton Fabrications were delighted to be appointed by Vinci Construction UK to complete the secondary metalwork package at East Park, which included the modular external escape stairs and external stainless steel balustrade and handrails. The modular stairs were manufactured and pre-assembled off site in our dedicated BUILDOFFSITE workshop with an average install period of just 2-3 days, which helped reduced our carbon footprint on site operations.
