School of Engineering, UWE Bristol

Taunton Fabrications are proud to have worked with Bam Construct UK, AHR Architects and Hydrock in designing and manufacturing the feature staircase, atrium balustrade & various staircores for the new School of Engineering at UWE Bristol.

About the Project

UWE Bristol's new School of Engineering will enable the faculty to respond to the emerging demand for Degree Apprenticeships in Engineering.

The multimillion pound building will be located next to the new Bristol Business School in the heart of the Frenchay Campus and will accommodate 1,600 undergraduate and postgraduate students along with 100 academic and technical staff.

Taunton Fabrications were delighted to be appointed by BAM Construct UK to complete all of the secondary and architectural metalwork at the School of Engineering that included the impressive atrium stairs, powder coated mesh balustrade featuring timber handrails, and external stainless steel balustrade.
